“As an animal lover, and a supporter of veterans, I felt compelled to work with South Dakota Service Dogs as a puppy raiser. I am grateful to have the chance to make a difference in the life of a veteran. People often ask me if I am sad when the dogs we train and care for leave us to go to their veteran’s home, and the answer is no, not at all. I understand that these dogs have a higher purpose, and I am happy to do everything I can to support that.”
